Are your vacations coming to an end? Do you have to start working soon? Here are some tips to help you overcome the after-vacation syndrome.

• Think that your vacation are only a part of the year and they go away quickly.
• Search for interesting things to do each day and keep a positive attitude, valuing small things.
• Think about your wishes and try to make them come true.
• Don’t worry to much for feeling sad about having to go back to your routine, that’s normal.
• Remember that work is not your enemy, but your life sustainment.
• If you can, take vacations for short periods, so that you can have some spare days to spend several times a year.
• Return from a long vacation two or three days before having to go to work, and enter in the new routine slowly.
• Establish small routines and habits like sleeping fewer hours.
• Restart a healthy diet and establish time schedule for the meals a few days before starting to work.

Although Summer is over, it’s always time to travel. Why not choose a cruise for a change? If you have only a few vacation days don’t worry, there are cruises available for 4 to 7 nights. You can have fun on board with the wide variety of activities there are available and you can also visit new cities. If you want to go to the Caribbean there are three caribbean cruises available: Eastern, Southern and Western cruises. All of them have their own activities, historic places to visit and the most important factor, you will be able to get rid of everyday life stress. Enjoy!!

Summer is almost over but some people are still on vacation. It’s very common for people to go on vacation on the first two weeks of September because it’s cheaper and not so crowded as August.Some people just go camping or do as some family members of mine and buy a big RV. Of course it’s a big investment but the RV can be used along the year, everywhere, no check in or check out in Hotels and you can change the location according to your preferences. You can stay a couple days in one place, a couple of days somewhere else, etc..
Camping is also a cheap option but at this time of the year with the uncertain weather is a bit risky, you might get wet.

Of course you don’t have the comfort of a soft bed in a comfortable room you would have on a Kissimmee vacation resort, but what matters is that people have a great vacation one way or another and have a better life.

Being on vacation and have no money to travel and go to a Condo in an exotic place can a disappointment. I’m disappointed. I’m not able to travel for 4 years now, not even a weekend out.

But there are worse things in life, so, being alone with my two kids on vacation (my husband is working) with such good weather, with the beach just 15 minutes away, I can easily make my kids happy.Of course it’s exhausting for me, make lunch, pack up the backpack with towels, snacks, etc., look after them while one is in the smaller swimming pool and the other is sliding in the tubes, I can’t even swim on my own because I have to look after them and make sure they are save. But it doesn’t matter they are really happy.

Of course I would prefer to take advantage of Pigeon Forge vacation rentals but this is what I can have now and I have to live with what I have and can have. Sometimes it’s difficult to accept it because I would like to leave at least for a week a year to some place far away from home.

I’ll keep dreaming.
