If you blog and you have a family than you should get a Laptop. It was the best buy I did in the last few years. My notebook computer saves me from waiting for the desktop to be free because everyone in the house uses it. I can take it to every room and this brings me a lot of freedom to blog when and where I want.

I unfortunately work full time outside the house so only at the end of the day I can use my notebook computer to blog, watch a series while my kids watch a movie or just chat.

So, how do you do? Do you have a notebook computer or do you prefer to have your limit space for a computer and use it in one specific room?

After an extensive search for an Affiliate Network that allows me (No-US) to participate as a publisher and get paid not through check but through Paypal I lost hope. Hopefully Twitter is a great place to meet wonderful people as well as get very useful information. I had the idea of tweetering a message asking if someone knew an affiliate network other than CJ, Amazon or Linkshare and Julie from Julie’s Journal sent me a link to PepperJam Network.

I must confess that this was the first time I ever heard about this Affiliate program so I checked the site and was pleased to find out that they pay through Paypal and have a lot of interesting merchants.

I never earned a $ from affiliate programs mostly due to poor advertising and exposure of the available products. Right now I have some loyal visitors and I really want to bring to this blog products and services that can really interest them.

One of the disadvantages of being a No-US Resident is that most companies don’t send me products to review. I mean, in the last year I received four requests to review products but, most sites I visit only send samples to US Residents.

I understand this situation, mail costs are not cheap and once there are so many US bloggers it’s easier to ask them.

Advertisers, please be aware that most of my traffic is from US so why don’t you send me overseas some products for me to review. I understand that diet pills are not something I should try because I’m underweight but I can review other products like home cleaning products, clothes, movies, sites, programs, etc. I just need some samples…

I’m back from my vacation and tomorrow I will be back to work. Sorry for not posting previously but I was enjoying my yearly few vacation days. I’m back to posting regularly.

We have everything ready for our vacation:

• clothes packed
• food packed
• books and magazines packed
• cell phone packed
• etc., etc. packed

We are leaving tomorrow morning for a 1,5 – 2 hours travel, we are not taking highways only secondary roads.

As you might notice on the previous list of packed things, I’m not including the Laptop, yes, I’m not taking the Latpop with me. 6-7 days without Internet, 6-7 days without posting. I don’t have any scheduled posts, I never have, so this blog won’t have any posts for that period.

I talked with my cell phone service provider and I got the bad news that I don’t have Internet access because this provider, with low rates, doesn’t give Internet access. This means I won’t have any contact with blog world (at least I will have tv!).

I promise I will post as soon as I arrive home from our vacation. Good content is coming soon: health tips, travel tips, hotel information, light recipes and much more.
