Our swimming pool is ruined. We have one of those Intex pools that have an inflated area above. The cats from the neighborhood just like the pool and they just put their claws on the inflated area. The result is a full of holes inflated pool area.

We have tried to use a pool cover just like the spa covers to see if we could keep the cats away from the pool but the results where not satisfactory. Right now we have to inflate the pool several times a day what is causing us a lot of problems with containing the water inside the pool.

We really need to buy a new pool but the budget is not the appropriated. If only we could seal the small holes made by the cats. We’ve tried several techniques without the best results.

Any ideas?

I always had a oily skin specially in the nose and chin area, the famous T area. I would like to have a product that would get rid of pimples overnight but that is not possible.I’m not here to sell products but to ask for your opinion and experience with this subject.

In January 2011 I decided to change from my regular electricity company to a new one. I checked the top alternative energy companies and decided to change to one that offered a discount during one year.

Changing from a regular electricity company to a alternative energy company was a necessary and wanted step. I feel I’m helping the environment and at the same time using a discount that saves me money.

I am also more careful with the home appliances and electricity in general.

I tend not to leave the tv on or the light on if I will be away from the room more than five minutes.

The refrigerator is opened a small amount of times. I usually think first about what I want from the fridge and get everything out and in in one single time. With kids in the house this rule is hard to apply.

I only turn on the iron when I have a large amount of clothes to iron.

I do the laundry when I have a full machine. Doing the laundry with a half full machine makes us waste energy and water.

The only gadget I have all day connected is the laptop. But during the night it is turned off also.

So I think I am doing my share when it comes to saving energy and using alternative energy. What about you?

My bedroom Tv isn’t working properly and I’m really thinking about buying a new one.

I don’t want to spend a lot but I want to buy an ecologic TV. Saving energy is a priority not only for the money but also for the environment.

LCD tvs are an excellent option since they have several energy saving options. I’m not very aware of LED tvs features and options so I guess I have to research a bit before deciding.

Which tv types do you consider the most economic and ecologic?

We are in the middle of Spring. New fruits are being sold in the market. Oranges are at their best and so are bananas, kiwi, pears, and apples. Nowadays we can also find all the vegetables available at this time of the year, therefore there is no excuse for not eating healthy food.

However fast food is preferred over healthy one because it saves time, and it’s more handy. Overweight is increasing in all ages and that’s a fact we have to be aware of. We can’t find the right weight in products like liponox and other similar ones. We must eat correctly by taking advantage of the products we have available. And there are a lot of healthy products available, sometimes we are just too lazy to cook and we end up eating fast food.

We need to create some awareness to our youngest population that are learning our habits. Let’s teach them we care and that we know how to live and eat in a healthy way.
