One of my dream houses would be an ecologic house in the middle of nature. I have this on my mind for long years. I love mountain houses, country houses, lodges surrounded by nature, the sound of birds, trees.

Living in a place where houses are made of cement and bricks makes me dream with a wood house, cabin beds, fireplace, grow my own vegetables and fruits, make my own woolen socks and shirts. Maybe a little snow outside during winter…a dream.

Being a college student require a lot of time doing assignments, projects, reports, research and etc. Time is really precious that attending and cooking for one’s self with nutritious food is quite a tiring and waste of time. Hanging out with friends in the food chains is really exciting but the food is not good for the body especially for a student’s brain.

The proper functioning of the brain can not be achieved if improper nutrition is exercised. A person may feel dizzy and sleepy during classes if fatty foods are always given priority. There are kinds of “food” as they call it that is available in the campus canteens or stores just outside the campus. There are junk foods, candies, if not pure carbs then no carbs at all. The body needs balanced amount of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats to make the body function well.

Most if not all of the students nowadays prefer to take food supplements to cover up for their absence. That’s why students easily get the most common illnesses during rainy season, the coughs and colds. Even if they want to build muscles, they must have a healthy lifestyle and there is no greater supplement of vitamins and minerals than from food.

Citrus fruits are Vitamin C-rich but the fruit that has the largest amount of Vitamin C is guava especially the native one. One native guava is equal to ten lemons in Vitamin C content. Milk and dairy products like cheese and yoghurt are rich in Vitamin A. Nuts and whole wheat products are rich in Vitamin E while most of the green leafy vegetables contain all of the mentioned vitamins especially the world’s number one horse raddish leaves.

Student should learn how to find and choose healthy food in school. Instead of picking on soda, just go for juice and instead of other snacks, why not choose salad. Choose whole wheat or whole grain cereals and fruits instead of pizza and hamburger. Healthy eating for students is not just avoiding fatty foods but eating a balanced and moderate amount as well thus, giving you a healthy body that functions well and makes you awake for the whole duration of the class.

A large numbers of people are getting into organic gardening because it is more environment-friendly, healthier, it is a fantastic past-time and also can help them save cash by having all crops they need within the backyard. If you’re one of those people who are planning to get your personal organic garden, here are some useful suggestions for you:

1. First of all, choose the crops you would like to grow.
Since you’re into natural gardening, it’s best if you begin with seeds first. Today, there are a lot of available seeds in most groceries and also markets. But, you cannot just grab a pack of seeds without thinking first about if it will grow in your atmosphere. For starters, it is best to stick with vegetables as well as beans to try and check what grows better in your soil. Once you’ve determined what the vegetables that grow better are, then you can buy other seeds that you want to grow.

2. Prepare the proper containers.
In natural gardening, there is no need to buy costly or special containers. As long as they are tapered, then it will be fine to seed. Whenever you decide to get into natural gardening, check out your kitchen first. Old yogurt containers, empty juice and milk packs, tubes of potato chips, cans of sauces and juices, and slightly damaged pails are perfect for seeding. Just clean them up and begin filling them with clay and other organic matter to prepare for seed planting.

If you don’t have any of the mentioned containers, you can purchase containers on the nearest supermarket. Make sure they have tapered sides so the crop can effortlessly slip out. Aside from containers that are at least 3 inches deep, shallow trays can also be used however only use them for one type of seed otherwise the roots may tangle and that would result in the death of the crop.

Make sure the containers are extremely well cleaned using warm water dashed with chlorine bleach to make sure that the germs that might be inside are killed. After washing, leave them on the open air to allow them dry. (TIP: If you can put them to dry directly beneath the sun, it will probably be best because all the residues will be removed.)

3. Make sure to have ready packets of planting mixes.
Planting mixes help seeds to sprout extremely easily. It’s best if you use planting mixes that are sterile because they are secure for your plants as well as for you personally.

4. Label every container properly.
Since seeds look alike when they sprout, it’s best if all the containers are labeled correctly. Apart from allowing you to easily identify which is which, labeling is also essential to avoid planting the same seed all over again.

5. Make sure there’s plenty of air and light available.
If natural sunlight is not possible to get in your area, try to create a light source such as a fluorescent light bulb or tube that can be brought in most stores as well as lamp shops. Make sure that locate them correctly so the sprouts can get all the light they need to grow healthy and strong.

Cold, rain, boots, heavy coats, umbrella and fog. These words are synonymous of Autumn. Beaches, swimming pools, camping, beach towels, sun umbrella, shorts and sandals belong to the past season. No more bikinis or swimming suits. Top selling diet pills are no longer a priority once the bodies are hidden with thick and heavy clothes. Halloween is just a few days ahead and costumes are a priority now as well as candies and sweets.
