We all know that exercise is an activity that brings many benefits to our health. Although I don’t go to the gym, gymnastic classes or do any kind of exercise at home, instead I prefer to join my kids on some of their favorite activities.

I sometimes I forget that I’m 41 and I feel like a young girl. My kids go to roller skating classes and I also roller skate with them. In fact, the teacher is the one that in every class encourage me to go and skate with them. I’m the only grown-up, besides the teacher, to skate with the kids and although I have joint pain and muscle pain when I leave the class, I really relieve some stress and at the same time I do some exercise.

Other days we just walk around the neighborhood, visit someone or go for a cup of coffee but always on foot or bike. I feel like I’m exercising, at least I reach the end of the day exhausted.

  1. Hi Zemanta, it’s nice to land on your blog! Like you, I don’t go to the gym, but I’m starting to feel I should get a membership just because there is a variety of things to do there. Currently, in order for me to get some exercise I will go to the park and run a few laps or go to the park and play basketball with the people there. Both ways help me gain mental clarity and energy for the rest of the day.
