Eco Tip: Reuse Yoghurt Plastic Cups

I love jelly and so do my kids. Usually when I make Jelly I use glass cups to put it individually but this last week I started using the plastic yogurt cups. Although they end up in the recycle bin after a while, at least they are reused one or two times.

Plastic yogurt cups can also be used for pudding or mouse. It might not be attractive when we have guests but it works fine for us and it is a way to show the kids that we can reuse simple things, we just have to think what we can do with them.

This too is a form of recycling. I always reuse the plastic casseroles to take my launch at work.

I am always reusing products around our house. We do crafts with items or just use them as snack containers to keep our food fresh. It is an important lesson to teach our kids.

I also do this at home. Some of my ice cream tubs are reusable too. Few decorations on the side, and you got a craft project for the kids. Some I use to store some small stuff I have like buttons and pencils. Thanks for your tips! :)

Another great recycling tip, this one involving jello. I reuse cottage cheese containers for freezable sauces like spaghetti sauce for use in the future. Saves me from spending $$ on glad storage containers.

Garret: We also use yoghurt cups to make “maracas” for the kids. We put rise inside one cup than glue it up to another cups and it’s used as a sound instrument.

    Aubrielle,
Those are also great ideas. I also use them to put my daughters hair clips.
