Choosing the right treatment product

What do you do when you want an acne treatment, sunburn cream or some sort of treatment product? Do you go straight to a dermatologist or pharmacist or you do your own research online first?

Well usually I do my online research, look for a review comparison, see closely the components of each product so that if I have doubts and in case I don’t buy online, I go to the pharmacy and ask for the right product. When a product is shown to me I take the caution to read the label and if any of the compounds are on the red list for dangerous products I ask the person that is attending me his/her opinion. Usually online reviews are accurate but we have always to make sure that the product is the right one for us.

How I feel…Depression

Depression, yes, depression is my healthy issue right now. According to the psychiatrist I have a depression associated with a high level of anxiety.

Years of psychological abuses in the office I was working in by the bosses and the intensification of psychological pressure during the year 2009 just throw me down. I know It was my fault, that I shouldn’t stayed so long in that office but now I have to cure myself because…I don’t want to end up in a mental hospital.

The symptoms were obvious I just tried to forget they existed and I always thought that the next day would be better.

According to the Helpguide.org the Common signs and symptoms of depression are:

  • Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. A bleak outlook—nothing will ever get better and there’s nothing you can do to improve your situation.
  • Loss of interest in daily activities. No interest in former hobbies, pastimes, social activities, or sex. You’ve lost your ability to feel joy and pleasure.
  • Appetite or weight changes. Significant weight loss or weight gain—a change of more than 5% of body weight in a month.
  • Sleep changes. Either insomnia, especially waking in the early hours of the morning, or oversleeping (also known as hypersomnia).
  • Irritability or restlessness. Feeling agitated, restless, or on edge. Your tolerance level is low; everything and everyone gets on your nerves.
  • Loss of energy. Feeling fatigued, sluggish, and physically drained. Your whole body may feel heavy, and even small tasks are exhausting or take longer to complete.
  • Self-loathing. Strong feelings of worthlessness or guilt. You harshly criticize yourself for perceived faults and mistakes.
  • Concentration problems. Trouble focusing, making decisions, or remembering things.
  • Unexplained aches and pains. An increase in physical complaints such as headaches, back pain, aching muscles, and stomach pain.

I had all symptoms. Regarding the weight change for me meant a weight loss. Regarding the sleep changes, I started with hypersomnia, dreams and nightmares.

Even with medication the nightmares are not gone yet. They are always work related, boss related, usually they are violent, aggressive what causes me a real headache when I wake up. Why don’t I dream with Brad Pitt or some one that uses the best testosterone boosters? Well, it’s easy to understand. Last year I suffered from daily pressure from my boss, aggressively was the main action towards me, so now, I feel my brain is so “damaged” by that, that my fears come in my nightmares.

I know the cause of my depression so I have to get rid of it, I have to wait a few more months until everything ends but for now I’m home on a medical leave.

Eco Tip – A excellent use for winter leaves

Aged mulch of coarse home compost Category:Compost

Many people truly hate getting out in the bleak mid-winter and raking up those Winter leaves from the garden. Well – If you want to enjoy low maintenance vegetable gardening in the summer, then the leaves are suddenly made out of gold!

Throughout winter rake the leaves into durable bin sacks for storage. Once the spring comes, and vegetables are getting settled, a pest wants to grow right beside them – weeds! Taking the winter leaves, throw them in a plastic bin, drop in some water for a bit of moisture and give the leaves a good bashing with a spade. This chops the leaves into tiny pieces, and then its just a case of throwing them on the ground around your veg. Stomp them into the soil so that you get a nice firm layer.

The benefits of leaf mulching are numerous:

  • Your soil moisture is maintained
  • It keeps weeds away
  • If you protect the ground with the leaves around fruit trees, it will keep your apples and pears clean when they hit the ground
  • The leaves will end up to rot into the soil and provide great organic matter for the following year

What should I do with my old clothes?

Does having a better life means having better clothes? Not necessarily, but I surely would be more confident when I go out if I had better clothes.

My wardrobe really needs a makeover and I must confess that I started but I gave up because I realized that if I giveaway my old clothes I end up with nothing on my wardrobe, sad but true. I look at my closed and I see that I stopped in time, not due to lack of time, space but money. In my closet you can find some jersey sweets made by me 15 years ago, some old woolen coats, a pair of breeches that were fashionable to wear 10 years ago, old clothes that do not fit me anymore but bring me some memories.

So what should you I do? Just grab everything and put in the garbage? Some clothes are so old they no longer are good for anyone.

I like to see a TV Show, I don’t remember the name right now, where they take an entire wardrobe and put it in the garbage bin and then they offer a new style, new clothes, shoes. Well I need that. Maybe some organic clothes because I’m on a Go Green style. Well, I just need the money…
