Filed Under (Helping Hand, have a better life) by Laura
My husband did something this week that never crossed our mind but that he thought it would be good to help us get through the monthly bills. About five years ago we found a gold bracelet on the street, it had no identification, no one asked for a found bracelet so we kept it always thinking that some day someone would knock at the door as ask us if we had found a gold bracelet. That day never arrived so we kept it. We don’t use gold stuff besides our wedding ring so the bracelet was just put aside in a box. Has we have been short of money my husband decided to sell it and it was worth 80€, not bad. Well, now I’m just waiting for the day that we find a loose diamonds that we can sell to help us have a better life. Diamonds, were are you? Should we kept the bracelet even without using it? ![]() Random Posts

I think you have done right by selling it…you are not going to use it anyway and you also waited for the owner to search for it… Thanks

Its always tricky to know what to do when finding an item. If you did try to locate the owner, who’s to say that the person claiming to be the owner was infact the owner. As they say, things happen for a reason, you needed to pay a bill and the item you found payed that bill. I wouldn’t think about it to much.

If nobody claimed it in 5 years I wouldn’t worry about it! I never find anything good…

After 5 years I would say you have a right to sell it. Quite a few people would have sold it after only a week.

You should have waited some months and you would be rich - have look at the current gold price |
