Freeze properly
Freezing meals, vegetables and fruits are and excellent way to save you time and money. First of all buy some special freezer bags and some proper containers so that you have appropriate items to freeze your food. If you use regular bags or containers you will end up having useless freezing food because they get burned by the freeze. Make sure the containers are really closed and remove the air (as much as you can) from the freezer bags before sealing them. Having ready made food frozen it’s an excellent option for one of those days we don’t know what to cook or when we really don’t have time to cook.

Prepare your salads at home
Although it’s nice to have easy work when preparing salads it’s better to avoid prepared vegetable salads, fruit salads, precut vegetables because they can be very expensive one they are cleaned and ready to use. Make a little effort and cut your vegetables and fruits for your salads. You might have a litle more work but you will save a few dollars.

Usually I blog about ways to have a better life but sometimes I face same problems I can’t resolve.

Why do desktop computers are so noisy, at least mine is. The desktop is in the dressing room next to my room and I can hear i working downstairs. I’ve changed the processor, the fan, the energy feeding, what can I do more? At night it’s impossible to have it turned on and watching TV…so annoying.

Anyone experiencing the same problem? A noisy desktop? What can I do more?

My husband did something this week that never crossed our mind but that he thought it would be good to help us get through the monthly bills. About five years ago we found a gold bracelet on the street, it had no identification, no one asked for a found bracelet so we kept it always thinking that some day someone would knock at the door as ask us if we had found a gold bracelet. That day never arrived so we kept it.

We don’t use gold stuff besides our wedding ring so the bracelet was just put aside in a box. Has we have been short of money my husband decided to sell it and it was worth 80€, not bad. Well, now I’m just waiting for the day that we find a loose diamonds that we can sell to help us have a better life. Diamonds, were are you?

Should we kept the bracelet even without using it?

I feel my life is falling apart. I’m not handling my daily life specially my job. Yesterday I collapsed at work and cried most of the afternoon while I was working.

The boss isn’t incapable of thinking he might be responsible for it, that he is abusive, he treats his employees like crap so he asked me why was I crying, it I hadn’t already received my salary and paid the monthly bills. Can’t he see that it is attitude, his responses, that makes me feel depressed. Well I guess not, and in the middle of my crying I was incapable of telling him the true.

I’m not worried about getting old, I’m not worried about using the right eye cream, I just want to have a decent job with a decent boss. You might ask: why don’t you change to another job? Well, that’s not easy nowadays, crisis is striking everywhere and jobs is something difficult to find.

I just want to have a better life…

As I mentioned on my last email I’m looking for ways to save money. Well there are certain shopping items that right know unfortunately do not cross my mind like clothes and shoes for me although I desperately need some new items.

Then, there are those “luxuries” that I don’t even think about because for my family right now and in a near future they are a mirage – vacations somewhere out here, travel on weekends and eating in a restaurant. These things that usually are kind of normal to a lot of families are a luxury for me.

Well you might say: Take advantage of sales. Well, although we can buy a lot of clothes and shoes on sale, we need money to buy them and right now, we have no money.

I’ve been watching some Maxed Out TV shows and I’m following some of the advices so…no extra shopping right now, only essential shopping.

Christmas shopping is close but this year only a few gifts will be bought. New Year will be spent at home.

I really don’t mind that some people are already booking hotels in new york or las vegas not to mention in exotic and tropical parts of the globe, I know I can’t but that if I make an effort now there is a chance that one day I can.
