Freeze properly
Freezing meals, vegetables and fruits are and excellent way to save you time and money. First of all buy some special freezer bags and some proper containers so that you have appropriate items to freeze your food. If you use regular bags or containers you will end up having useless freezing food because they get burned by the freeze. Make sure the containers are really closed and remove the air (as much as you can) from the freezer bags before sealing them. Having ready made food frozen it’s an excellent option for one of those days we don’t know what to cook or when we really don’t have time to cook.

Prepare your salads at home
Although it’s nice to have easy work when preparing salads it’s better to avoid prepared vegetable salads, fruit salads, precut vegetables because they can be very expensive one they are cleaned and ready to use. Make a little effort and cut your vegetables and fruits for your salads. You might have a litle more work but you will save a few dollars.

I heartily agree on the precut vegetables. Not only are they expensive but they always look horrible and old. Chopping your own only takes a few seconds.

Thank you for the tips on how to properly freeze foods. I’m not actually good at those on using freezer bags and containers. I just put in the fridge like usual things that are kept to be fresh.
