thanks a lot for this informative post.
you really hit it home in terms of how important it is to budget. I hope that this recession teaches everyone how so important it is to set up an emergency fund and track what is going in and out.

One of the best things my parents ever did was allow my brothers and I to learn how to budget. They gave us an allowance that was higher than usual, but we paid for all of our clothing and entertainment.
