For 10 years I have been having from time to time tachycardias. My heart beat reaches nearly 200 beats/minute but until this moment I’ve been lucky because I was only hospitalized once during a tachycardia. The fear of sudden cardiac death crosses my mind each time my heart starts beating like crazy, it’s like living in stand-by.

I try to keep myself well informed about this problem I have and I research and read all the articles and sites I can find about SCA (Sudden Cardiac Arrest), Inside Cardiac Arrest is one of those. This site shows two very interesting and detailed videos explaining (in plain language) everything about SCA and the heart itself.

SCA kills around 900 people a day! If you want to know if you are at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest you can check the Risk Factors and see for yourself what you can do to prevent SCA.
