Kitchen tools I can’t live without

Being a full time worker (40 hours a week) time is not something I have to spare or waste, every minute counts, so meals are something I usually try to plan in advance.

I usually have some tools that allow me to save some time while preparing the meals, here are some of them:

1 -Onion Chopper – I also use this chopper to chop other vegetables, for instance I like to put fresh tomato in the pizza, so I just chop a little the tomato in the chopper and it’s ready to use.

2 -Garlic Press – Instead of cutting the garlic into small pieces with the knife, with this press we just have to “press” the garlic and in two seconds it’s done.

3 – Salad Spinner – Although it’s another piece to wash and clean, this spinner is excellent to eliminate the excessive water there is in the salad after being washed.

4 – Herb Scissors – Excellent to cut, chop or mince herbs really fast.

What about you, which tools do you have in your kitchen that you can’t live without?

  2. My wife loves to cook, she is as mad on kitchen gadgets as I am on mens gadgets. I’ll put these few ideas across to her, but she may already be a step ahead of you (a long stride ahead of me).
