We all go shopping and usually we want new articles to test them in first hand. But crisis is all over the place and buying second hand articles are becoming a popular option for those looking for cheaper products.

If you are looking for computers, routers, voip phones or hardware you know how much they cost when we buy them new. However there are a lot of people that replace their equipments for new and more sophisticated models although the models they have are in good conditions. Where are those used products going? Garbage? I don’t think so, they can be reused by others.

Sapia Networks is a company that besides selling new equipments they also sell used cisco, juniper, foundry and other brands. They refurbish the equipments, test them and sell them at very attractive prices and warranty conditions. This is an excellent alternative for those looking for this type of equipments.

We can save a lot of money and help the environment by buying used products.

  1. Well it’s just buying 2nd hand products. Haha.. There’s always a market for new and 2nd hand ones. It’s just that once you want to dispose of it make sure you dispose it to the right party so they can make full use of it and reuse some of the materials =)

  3. I hardly buy secondhand small products also…as usually it is not expensive and sometimes 2nd hand product is not reliable.

  4. Great ideas. It’s hard sometimes to buy used electronics because of the stigma that they are bad and not as good as new technologies. It’s great to see a company trying to make a difference by refurbishing used equipment .

  5. If you have any IT-company nearby (or a university), ask for used computer-boxes. Those monitors usually come in *huge* boxes that are just perfect for moving, and they’re usually only too happy to get rid of them. Printing paper comes in smaller boxes (good for heavier stuff like books.) I haven’t bought a moving box in my life, and I’ve moved a lot…
