It’s time for another light recipe. This time I’ve chosen a dessert I adore: Tiramisu.

This is a LIGHT TIRAMISU from Better Homes and Gardens, delicious as all their recipes. This recipe is easy to make and the ingredients are not difficult to find. Here it is:

Ingredients:

* 2 8-ounce cartons fat-free sour cream
* 2 8-ounce packages reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel), softened
* 2/3 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup fat-free milk
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
* 1/2 cup strong coffee
* 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
* 2 3-ounce packages ladyfingers, split
* 2 tablespoons sifted unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed until smooth. Combine coffee and coffee liqueur.
2. Layer one package of the ladyfingers, cut side up, in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish. Brush with half of the coffee mixture. Spread with half of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers, coffee mixture, and cheese mixture.
3. Sprinkle with sifted cocoa powder. Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours. If desired, sprinkle serving plates with additional unsweetened cocoa powder. Cut dessert into squares to serve. Serves 15.

I didn’t receive an iPod Touch but my DH and kids offered me a cell phone. It’s a Sony Ericsson W200i and has special Walkman functions included.

I had an old Trium, still black and white and with very little functions. My new Sony Ericsson has a camera so now, finally, I can take pictures with it to put on my blog, I can also make small movies. I can sent SMS, MMS, listen to the radio, 120MB memory card included, headphones. I can send and receive emails but I haven’t set up the account yet and I have to check the rates I will have to pay to browse the web with WAP.

With a mix of black and orange this cell phone has a nice design and interesting navigation keys. I’m happy with it.

Today it’s my birthday and what I would like to receive as a birthday present was an iPod Touch .

An iPod touch would allow me to connect to the internet, hear music, watch movies, store my pictures and watch them as a sideshow, check You Tube and watch the videos I want, send and receive e-mails as well as open Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat files.

I could buy music and do downloads from iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, check the traffic, stocks, the weather, all at the distance of a touch.

One of the articles I find really important in the decoration of our home is the Rugs we use. They make the difference.

I have an old contemporary rug on my living room that needs to be replaced. It has 14 years old and it’s…old. Over the years we have been washing it by hand, the bright colors gave place to fade colors and dark areas that no longer look appealing to be in our main living room.

Buying new rugs means going through a process of choosing the right rug. We can take advantage and choose new colors, change the style, improve the look and still match the furniture.

Contemporary Rugs are not an option for me now, I want something different, something for fashionable, modern because I expect to be able to change my furniture in a near future. Of course there are beautiful rugs available on this category but I prefer to move to Wool Area Rugs category and buy a beautiful rug made of natural fibers. I want to step away from motive patterns and replace it for a one color pattern.

I have brown leather sofas, Bordeaux decorations, glass living room table so a full Bordeaux rug would be my election.
