It’s almost Valentine’s Day and why don’t you prepare a delicious dessert for you and your love one that is High Fiber, Low Sodium and Low Cholesterol.

I found this Chocolate Fondue recipe at EatingWell , it’s very easy to make.

1. Place chocolate, cream, espresso, vanilla and salt in a medium microwave-safe bowl; microwave on Medium, stirring every 20 seconds, until melted, 1 to 2 minutes.
2. Pour the chocolate mixture into a serving bowl. Serve with fruit.

  1. I love chocolate! Sadly my boyfriend cannot stand anything sweet. Yeah, I know that is a little odd. But he is good for keeping me from eating too many.

  3. Great recipe, looks really tasty =P~
I’m going to try it for sure.
I do have one question though.
I do not like espresso. Is it okay if I don’t use it for the Chocolate Fondue or if I use something else instead? Like cocoa or hot chocolate?

  5. For sure Cocoa or hot chocolate won’t give the fondue the same taste as expresso but you can try it. Expresso is a little bitter and that will cut a little the chocolate sweetness. That’s the secret. Enjoy.

  8. Chocolate fondu, what not do do! I ruined our Valentine’s fondu by adding cold milk to hot chocolate. I wanted to dilute it a little. It instantly turned into a think and yummy play-do like substance! We could actually make fun shapes without getting messy fingers.
