Rich in fat and proteins, the avocado is excellent for weak and malnutrition people because it helps the digestion process, eliminates pains and ends with constipation.

Although rich in vegetable fat, it doesn’t attack the liver and eliminates the sensation of heavy stomach. The avocado contains a lot of phosphorus, that helps in the formation of bones and teeth and avoids mental fatigue.

As a remedy, the avocado is very useful. The endocarp (seed), crushed and burned, and mixed with milk resolves renal problems and diseases of the feminine reproductive system.

Its leaves, used for tea, are highly digestive, stimulated and regulate menstruation. The tea fights throat infections, eliminates hoarseness and coughs. It’s also good to masticate fresh avocado leaves to heal mouth and stomach problems and also fortifies the gums and teeth.

In the kitchen, the avocado can have a variety of uses. It is excellent to give a salad a good look when cut in cubes and mixed with boiled eggs round pieces, onions, salt, vinegar and pepper. Can also be used as ice cream, it’s only necessary to mix it in the mixer with lemon juice, sugar and milk and than put it in the freezer.

I read somewhere that a person could literally live off of avocados if they had no other options; that is, they have all the nutritional elements that humans need to survive. I have no idea if that’s true or not, but I could think of a lot worse options. Bugs, for example.

    Great blog!
