Be careful with Pearl Necklaces

pearl-jewlery.gifMy wedding necklace was a pearl necklace one. I was offered a new one years later but I no longer have them on the jewelry box.

Pearl Necklaces can be very dangerous for little children. My son was very fond of touching the pearls and feel them on his hands as well as the necklace slippering from his hands. It seems fun because its like a toy for the children but if the necklace breaks the pearls will be all over the place and, as they are very small, children can grab them and swallow them.

As soon as my pearl necklaces broke I put them on a safe place. With kids around the house, we never know, they find everything…

  2. Thanks for this tip. I spend a lot of my work looking for child-friendly travel options, but often I overlook the everyday risks that kids can encounter right at home. I’m so glad you pointed this one out . . . and the pearls are going into the lock box.

  3. Hey, thanks for the reminder.. I’m very careful with the kids’ toys, always checking if there are choking hazards. I never thought of checking my jewelry box..
