Pumpkin is a vegetable and is rich in pro-vitamin A, zinc, phosphor, calcium and iron.

The pulp is rich in zinc that helps the treatment of burns and healer and it’s important in the protection of the skin against the sun rays and excellent for the vision.

This vegetable is rich in phosphor which is a brain tonic.

Pumpkin seeds are rich in iron and should be eaten in regions where the iron is not very present in the food.

Pumpkins also have a reconstitute function on anemic and malnourished children.
