Hydrotherapy is a therapeutic process that consists in the body treatment through different temperature water. It is a relaxing practice and contributes to the relief of several disorders thanks to the pressure the water makes against the body and the benefits of changing the water temperature.Cold water stimulates the metabolism and the active production of heat, besides reducing the blood flow to the skin and muscles and therefore increasing the blood circulation on the internal organs. Hot water relaxes and decreases the arterial pressure.

Regarding  Hydrotherapy, there are different ways to apply it: baths, saunas, showers among others. I’m going to write a few posts with the description of each one to help you to have a more relaxed life.
