Diabetes medication – risks

Back in June I wrote an article about studies indicating that the use of Avandia in Diabetes patients could increase the risk of death due to heart attacks and strokes. Now it’s said that Actos Pills, also used by diabetes patients, seem to lower that risk. However both drugs can still be responsible for heart failure. The best option is always the patient discuss the subject with his/her doctor and together find the best medication and doses for each case.

  3. I think when it comes to any medicine there are going to be side effects. You just have to weigh the pros and cons and try to make a wise decision.
