Take care of your legs
12
Vein disease can be prevented, through the adoption of simple but essential cares.
You need to:
- Increase water ingestion
- Lose and/or keep weight (when there is no weight excess)
- Physical exercise: walking, biking or swimming are good activities
- Avoid standing up for too long or sat down without moving your legs
- Avoid crossing your legs because it increases the tension of the leg that is under the other
- Avoid dressing too tight clothes
- Use medium heels (not too high, not too low)
- Tone your legs daily, with the help of a cold bath and an appropriate gel
- Rest your legs at a little elevated level
- Avoid extended sun exposure
- Avoid smoking because it harms the blood flood

What a great post, something I need to be reminded of more often. Being a massage therapist I find that I do a lot of standing and should incorporate more exercise. Thanks!
