Due to my father’s Alzheimer disease, my single room at my parents house was changed to receive my father’s new bed. If you are going to travel and you have diabetes there are some points you need to take into consideration:

You should make the diabetes control the same way you do all year but with some extra care.
Try to eat more or less the same that you usually eat and drink a lot of liquids to avoid dehydration specially in hot climates.

One of the things I miss to feel well with myself is time to “put me fashionable”. I have only a few clothes, I use and abuse of jeans and t-shirts even at work and I barely use jewelry. For some people jewelry means diamonds, gold, silver but there are beautiful and fashion jewelry at affordable prices, we can even make some pieces at home.
