The Sneaky Chef:
Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids Favorite Meals
by Missy Chase Lapine

Everybody knows that kids must eat vegetables, fruits and beans. So far so good. Do you have kids? Yes? Than you know how difficult it is for them to eat vegetables. No matter if they are green, orange, brown, it’s always a fight.

Missy Chase Lapine had a great idea and wrote a book “The Sneaky Chef” with attractive and tasty food recipes where vegetables are the main ingredient. The veggies are kind of “hidden” among the other food and kids will eat them without noticing them.

There is also a website, The Sneaky Chef, with all the information regarding the book, also Sample Recipes, nutrition news blog and other useful links.

The Sneaky Chef is also giving away a free KitchenAid® Food Processor every month!

“With over 75 simple recipes, The Sneaky Chef is chock full of proven strategies for ingeniously disguising “superfoods” in kids’ favorite meals. Like blueberries hidden in burgers, broccoli in meatballs, cauliflower in mac ‘n cheese, and wheat germ in cookies (they can’t see or taste anything different!).

With the addition of a few fast and simple make-ahead purees or clever replacements (some may surprise you!) parents can pack more fiber, fruit, vegetables and whole grains in their kids’ foods.”
