Sun Protection

One of things I worry the most when going to the beach, going to locations or activities were there are great exposure to the sun, is my kids skin protection. Last year I used the Brand Ambre Salaire and I have some left I’m going to use it this year. I have the SPF 50 for first exposure days and then I continue to use SPF 50 in the face and shoulders and SPF 40 in the rest of the body. Sometimes I use the SPF 50 all Summer once my son is blond, blue eyed and as everybody know he is in the most dangerous group together with red haired. Usually I use also kids protection on my skin because I burn very easily.

Good for you remembering this! I wish I could travel back in time 30 years and slap some sunscreen on my pre-teen self. Back then we thought tan = hot, and what with the Cold War none of us would live to be 40 anyway.

Try telling that to my 40 year-old skin that’s now riddled with hyperpigmentation from sun damage. Ugh!

Great advice. Also remember, in order to get the full effectiveness from sun screen, you must put it on 30 minutes before you go out into the sun – and- you should also use it while driving in the car.
