If you are going on a trip, depending on the destination, the risk to get a infectious disease increases.

Once there are vaccines for most of the diseases related to traveling, it is important that before you leave you search the information (Consulate or family doctor) about the requirements of the destination country.

This will avoid you from having problems when trying to enter a certain country and you will have a more relaxed travel knowing that you are protected from the main infectious diseases,

  1. I think it’s always wise to do a lot of research first about the destination before going there. My dad went to Africa once and he had a lot of vaccinations before going there. It’s always helpful to be prepared. :)

  2. Hey, thanks for your comment on my blog (I gave a rather long reply there!) Thank you so, so much for being so wonderfully supportive.
I think preparation is absolutely essential before going anywhere. In many Asian countries, there’s a spate of bird flu still going on, so you need to be careful of that. If you’re in a bird flu country, don’t hang around near wild poultry, or where they’re being slaughtered, and don’t eat eggs.
