If you are going on a trip, depending on the destination, the risk to get a infectious disease increases.
Once there are vaccines for most of the diseases related to traveling, it is important that before you leave you search the information (Consulate or family doctor) about the requirements of the destination country.
This will avoid you from having problems when trying to enter a certain country and you will have a more relaxed travel knowing that you are protected from the main infectious diseases,

With Summer just around the corner, travel and vacations are more frequents. I’m going to post several posts with information you should be aware of before and during the travels.
Heat effect: The heat can cause several problems: dermic rashes (specially in children and obese individuals), fainting, dehydration, thermic shock, cramps, etc.
As a prevention and in hot climates you should:
- drink higher amounts of water (in order to urinate every 2 or 3 hours).
- wear light clothes , soft colours, large sleeves and brim hat, keeping yourself fresh and avoiding sun burns.
- The daily bath and the use of talcum powder in the more sensitive areas of the skin help reducing the risk of rashes
